What is an Intense Age Defence procedure?
I- Light 3 Intense Age Defence is made up of two stages:

1. First your skin is sprayed with Intense by I- Light 3 Photo Spray every 5 minutes for 1 hour. This spray makes you more receptive to the light.

2. After spraying, a transparent water based gel (similar to that used in ultrasound examinations) is applied to your face. The I- Light 3 operator guides the visible light from the flash-lamp to your face going over the area 3 times.

Does it hurt?
No! The power of the light has been lowered to a level that causes no or very little discomfort.

Is it necessary to use both the Intense by I- Light 3 Photo Spray and Light?
Yes! Intense Age Defence is based on the synergy between Intense by I- Light 3 Photo Spray and I-Light 3 system. It uses liposomes to transport the active ingredient into the skin.

Do I have to prepare my skin prior to the procedure and how do I take care of my skin after and in between sessions?
We will recommend you to use an Intense by I- Light 3 Exfoliating Gel (or similar) for at least one week prior to Intense Age Defence. The purpose of the Exfoliating Gel is to remove dead skin cells. This allows the light to better penetrate the skin.

In between sessions we recommend Intense by I- Light 3 Renewing Day cream SPF 15 (or similar). I- Light 3 Renewing Day Cream SPF 15 contains Vitamin A known to help skin cell renewal and SPF to protect the skin from UV radiation.
If exposed to direct sunlight, use sunscreen as well.

How fast does Intense Age Defence work?
There are no instant visible results with Intense Age Defence, but improvements in the appearance of skin texture and reduction of fine lines will take place gradually from 1-6 months after final session.
